There are 5 main womens plus size body shapes: straight, curved, soft-straight, broad shouldered and full-rounded.
Find your plus size body shape:
Full rounded: You have a combined short waist with rounded body.

Broad shouldered: You have a big bust or wide shoulders and small hips and waist.

Soft and straight: A combination of curves and straight such as an hourglass figure or maybe defined waist, straight shoulders and curved bottom.

Curved: You may have an overall rounded look with wide hips and rounded bottom.

Straight: The measurements of the hips, waist and bust are very alike.

When you have figured out your correct plus size body shape, the following are tips to help best accentuate your figure.
Full rounded: Aim to focus on special areas and emphasize these.

Broad shouldered: Aim to draw attention away from the top half.

Soft and straight: Aim to even out your shape, and highlight the other half of your body.

Curved: Draw attention up wards and away from the hips and thighs.

Straight: The aim is to create a curvaceous look.

You can achieve this by using appropriate plus size womens clothing styles, fabrics, patterns and added detailing:

Full rounded: Jackets should be long and collarless preferably. Avoid pants that are tightest around waistline, tight leggings or tight tops. Longer skirts work best. Wear tops with lines that are clean such as jewel necks and v-necks. It is best to wear bright colors around your neck. Avoid patterns below bottom half and animal prints. It is best to wear soft, lightweight fabrics.
